Ticino Musica is an international meeting of young professional musicians coming from all around the world.

Ticino Musica is an international meeting of young musicians coming from all around the world. The masterclasses give students the opportunity to have close contact with internationally renowned musicians on a daily basis. The simultaneous offer of courses for almost every orchestral instrument provides also the opportunity to for different chamber music ensembles. Also, the numerous concerts that take place during the two weeks of the masterclasses help preparing the young musicians for their future professional lives and enrich the cultural panorama of Ticino.

An inspiring evening with the Quartetto Kontakt . 🎼

The Festival’s Ensemble in Residence performed a programme featuring works by W. A. Mozart, Davide Broggini, Antoine Reicha and Georg Abraham Schneider, showcasing the richness and versatility of the flute and string quartet repertoire.

Performed by Matteo Spacagna (flute), Aurora Serena Ritorto (violin), Gaia Salime (viola) and Manuel Pecora (cello), the concert offered an evening of outstanding chamber music.

🎻 Musica da camera nella suggestiva Chiesa di Santa Maria a Mesocco.

Il 25 luglio, il Quartetto Moser ha proposto un programma dedicato a due capolavori del repertorio quartettistico: i Cinque Movimenti op. 5 di Anton Webern e il Quartetto per archi n. 15 in la minore op. 132 di Ludwig van Beethoven.

Un concerto intenso e coinvolgente, in cui la bellezza della musica si è fusa con l’atmosfera unica di uno dei luoghi più affascinanti del Festival.

Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno condiviso con noi questa splendida serata.

In Sorengo, the Opera Studio internazionale “Silvio Varviso” brought Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece to life, with the young artists of the Opera Studio joined by the Ticino Musica Instrumental Ensemble and Choir.

An evening of emotion, passion and extraordinary talent, shared with a wonderful audience.
