Representatives of the FAI's Air Sports Commissions combined work with pleasure on their recent trip to the stunning venues chosen for the FAI World Air Games 2020 in . 😀The objectives were to introduce the delegates to Turkish Aeronautical Association officials, visit the proposed venues, and start looking into how to ensure the successful management of the games. ⚡ Breaking news! 🇹🇷 named as the official host country for the FAI World Air Games 2020!
Turkey will be the official host country for the FAI World Air Games 2020, according to the contract signed yesterday by Türk Hava Kurumu (THK) President Kursat Atilgan and Frits Brink, President of the FAI, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Scheduled for September 2020, the Games will take place in some of the most iconic locations in Turkey, with the event split between Ankara, Antalya, Eskisehir, Efes/Selcuk, Ölüdeniz/Fethiye and Pammukale/Honaz.

What a performance! More than 600 km/h in Speed Skydiving!
Once ratified it will break the record set by Wiederkehr at the FAI World Air Games last year http://bit.ly/2cF9Sh2

Congratulations to Sweden’s Henrik Raimer who broke through the 600 km/h mark in Speed Skydiving at the 2016 Mondial / WPC in Chicago, USA yesterday. 👊
He hit an impressive 601.26 km/h in free-fall. Once ratified that will smash the current FAI World Record, which was set at 533.02km/h by Marco Wiederkehr in 2015 at the FAI World Air Games Dubai 2015. http://bit.ly/2cF9Sh2.
When you consider that a peregrine falcon when diving for prey only reaches about 320 km/h you realise just how fast this is!
