Flying film festival Welcome to the Flying Film Festival, the first festival taking place exclusively in the air.

It will be held in November and December on long-haul SWISS flights. The Flying Film Festival is the first movie festival taking place exclusively in the air. It will feature short documentaries and doc-animation movies from all over the world. The 2nd edition of the festival will take off in november 2017 and will be displayed until the end of december on all the long haul flights of
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS).

With a background in arts and humanities (Universities of Geneva and Neuchรขtel) and tourism (HES-SO Valais), Carole Bagnoud worked at the Office of Culture of the Canton of Bern before joining the Federal Office of Culture in 2015, where she was responsible for animated films, short films and transmedia projects. In 2020, she completed a CAS in โ€˜Promoting a Cultural Institutionโ€™ at the University of Neuchรขtel, with a thesis on Swiss animated films. Since 2023, she has been secretary general of the Swiss Animation Film Group (GSFA) and, since 2024, a member of the Cinรฉbulletin committee.

A film and television enthusiast, Marco Danesi is a regular visitor to cinemas, preferably independent ones, as well as festivals, both large and small. Over the years, he has helped organise local film events, reviewed films and, in his youth, even helped make a few short films. Marco Danesi has written for Domaine Public, Le Temps and Gรฉnรฉrations. He now writes for Cinรฉ-Feuilles, Hรฉmisphรจres (magazines published by universities in western Switzerland) and asile.ch (an information platform on asylum issues). For the past ten years, he has also been communications officer for the State of Vaud. Finally, he is a guide and mediator at the Swiss National Museum in Prangins (Vaud).

Giulia Fazioli, born in 1981, graduated in film history from D.A.M.S in Bologna and was head of the press office at the Locarno Film Festival from 2009 to 2014. In the following years, she worked as an international press officer for Makna Presse (Paris). Since 2017, she has been working as an editor in the Fiction Production department at RSI, and since 2024 she has been head of Pacte Production at RSI.
