This is What It Takes : a new original series by HOKA and the UTMB World Series celebrating the elite women moving the entire sport forward.
Throughout the season, the series follows the intersecting stories and fierce ambition of 6 incredible athletes. From rising stars entering the pro ranks with everything to prove, to seasoned champions shattering long-standing course records, the series dives deep into their complex personal backstories, their doubts, and their triumphs.
Director Carrie Highman brings you behind the scenes to capture a full year of raw, beautiful evolution across three major stages of the season: from the early proving grounds of The Canyons, through the historic Western States, to the ultimate culmination in Chamonix.
