We are very sad that we have to cancel the swissultra 2025.
The current low number of registrations is unfortunately too high a risk for the planning and the purchases required at this early phase.
We do not want to risk the quality standards that the swissultra stands for and, in the opposite way, we cannot charge the high financial risk to the private assets of the voluntary members of the swissultra committee.
We are aware that many ultratriathletes are still thinking about registering for the swissultra 2025. However, we need a certain number of confirmed confirmations/registrations at different phases.
This decision was very difficult for us. We took a lot of time and had countless discussions to try to find other, new ways to resolve this situation.
In the end, we wanted to make this early decision for the athletes who had already registered so that they could possibly adjust their plans for the year and attend one of the other wonderful IUTA events.
Our hearts are bleeding! We have planned the swissultra with a lot of passion and enthusiasm in our free time in countless volunteer hours and now these efforts are not bearing fruit.
We are very sorry that we cannot fulfill your dream in Buchs. Sorry.
The participants have already been informed and the entry fee will be refunded 100%.
With the hope for understanding for this situation, we wish you all the best for the sports year 2025 and hope to see you again soon.
