Please follow these guidelines to ensure a fair and safe environment for everyone. In the event of a violation, strict consequences will be enforced: You will be required to 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲, and your booth fees will 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝.
1. Focus on human creativity (Anti-AI)
HeroFest is a place for authentic, human-created art. We celebrate the uniqueness that can only be achieved through your craftsmanship and imagination. For this reason, the sale or exhibition of works generated entirely by AI (AI Art) is not permitted here. We are committed to valuing the “handmade.”
What counts as AI art for us: A work is considered AI art if the main product or the majority of the work was created by AI (e.g., the sale of posters or cards featuring AI-generated designs).
What does not count as AI art: If AI is used only to support a small portion (maximum 10%) of the work, this is permitted. An example of this would be a character created entirely by hand, for which AI-generated stickers are used solely as decoration.
2. Your boundaries are important to us
The Hero Pact clearly states: Photos of people and their work may only be taken with their express consent. Touching exhibits or yourself without permission is also prohibited. If you feel harassed or experience any inappropriate behavior, please do not hesitate to contact our awareness team or us at the exhibition office.
3. A community of equals
We maintain an environment free of discrimination, harassment, or hate. This applies at the booth, within the team, and in our communications after the festival. We look out for one another to ensure that Artist Alley remains an inspiring place for everyone.
