FOUNDING OF THE POLO CLUB ASCONA
Ascona is famous and well known in the whole world for its glamour and style. The Polo Club Ascona was founded by the Family Sauer, Styger and Zimmermann. This proved to be an added attraction for the tourists and residents of Ascona. The first Polo tournament was held in 2009, and since the tradition established.
We are the only polo club in the southern part of Switzerland and real pioneers in Ticino. as member of the Swiss Polo Association(SPA), we attract many new members and are open to the once still joining our club. Active playing members as well as social members, anyone is very welcome who contributes to the love of Polo and who is helping to establish our sport in the most beautiful Canton of Switzerland.
