“Somebody That I Used to Know” is a 2011 song written, produced and performed by the Australian singer-songwriter Gotye, featuring vocals from the New Zealand singer Kimbra.
Inspired by a real breakup, the song captures the feeling of heartbreak and distance through a sparse, catchy arrangement and a memorable guitar line.

The track became a worldwide hit, reaching No. 1 in more than 20 countries and topping the Billboard Hot 100 in 2012 and is still widely remixed and played today.

We always ask what's Kim doing, but never how's Kim doing đŸ„șđŸ„ș

Fun fact: Despite ruling one of the world's most isolated countries, Kim Jong Un enjoys a highly luxurious lifestyle.

He reportedly owns around 17 lavish palaces across North Korea, including a massive Pyongyang compound with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, private cinema stocked with over 20,000 DVDs, and even a horse racing track.

Satellite images have caught his fleet of yachts—like the $7 million Princess —sailing to private islands dubbed "North Korea's Ibiza."

Kim is also a die-hard NBA fan, obsessed with Michael Jordan memorabilia, and has hosted Dennis Rodman for wild jet-ski sessions while watching Chicago Bulls games.

Before becoming Supreme Leader, Kim lived a surprisingly normal teen life in Bern, Switzerland from 1993 to 1998. Under the fake name "Pak Un," he attended public school, blending in with classmates who had no idea he was North Korean royalty.

Dropped off by chauffeurs and guarded secretly, he geeked out over Western culture—basketball, James Bond movies, Disney films, and even MLK speeches.

“Boulevard of Broken Dreams” by Green Day was a single released late 2004 as part of their rock-opera album American Idiot.

It was one of Green Day’s biggest mainstream hits, peaking at #2 on Billboard Hot 100 and winning a Grammy for the Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Group.

Lyrically, the song is about isolation, self‑doubt, and the loneliness of chasing a dream, especially in a big city.

Lines like “I walk this empty street on the boulevard of broken dreams” is a metaphor for a path made up of failed or unfulfilled ambitions.

Fans and critics often read it as a commentary on early‑20s anxiety and the darker side of “making it” in music or big‑city life, which connected strongly with post‑9/11 youth culture.

Over time, it’s become an anthem about feeling alone even when surrounded by people, and it’s still widely played at parties, on streaming, and in memes.

Truly one of the greatest songs of our time 🙌

Dirty Dancing, released in 1987, is rated one of the best dancing movies of all time.

Featuring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, the “feel-good summer romance” drama was set in the summer of 1963 in the Catskills, NY, where 17-year-old Frances “Baby” Houseman is vacationing with her upper-middle-class family.

While exploring the grounds, Baby discovers the staff’s nightly “dirty dancing” performances and forms a bond with Johnny Castle, the resort’s charismatic dance instructor.

This movie earned over $214 million worldwide and propelled the “Time of My Life” soundtrack to multi-platinum status, which is still commonly played at weddings today.

The “Stayin’ Alive” soundtrack used in this clip was produced by the Bee Gees and released in December 1977. Although this song is embraced by the world as an euphoric party anthem, lyrically, it’s actually about survival in the rough streets of New York, and the band later described it as “dark” and rooted in struggle đŸ€Ł

The track became a number‑one smash in the U.S., helped sell the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack into the best‑selling album of all time at the time, and turned the Bee Gees into disco‑era icons.

On February 2nd, 2013, a group of teens from Australia created the first viral Harlem Shake video, getting 1M views in just days, even before TikTok existed.

Within 5 days, over 250,000 videos were uploaded with the same trend, and reaching 1 billion in cumulative views.

In this trend, there is one person dancing awkwardly for the first several seconds while everybody in the back act casual.

Within 15 seconds, there is a hard DROP followed by an abrupt cut to everyone going berserk in costumes and masks, and flailing randomly.

The absurdity and lack of explanation was the magic. No one asked "why”, you just did the dance.
The hype lasted almost 3 months into April 2013, as copycats began saturating feeds.

And we need to pay homage to this trend, as it paved the way for Ice Bucket Challenge, Mannequin Challenge, and TikTok's entire format as we know it today.

Here's a game you can play at your next gathering.

It involves a group of blindfolded friends sitting together and swinging a jug of water that is hanging from above.

One person swings the jug of water and everybody tries to avoid getting hit.

The last person to get hit wins the game!

Some may say there is strategy to winning and avoid getting hit, but it will involve a keen sense of physics and momentum, especially when that jug of water is coming at you fast! đŸ€Ł

Play this game at your own risk because if the jug is too heavy, it may cause injury! Helmets recommended!

Kanye West just released his newest album, Bully, on March 27, about 1 year after he had a series of antisemitic rants that praised Hi**er and tweets that said “de*th con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE”.

There was one incident where he sold a $20 t-shirt with a large black sw****ka on his website, which he promoted on a Superbowl ad in 2025 😼

These actions lead to the immediate cancellations of multiple brand deals with major companies like Adidas, Gap, Balenciaga, Universal Music Group, Foot Locker, and Vogue. This cost him billionaire status, and Forbes now estimates him to be worth around $400 million via music and real estate.

He tried to make amends in the following months, tweeting he was “Done with antisemitism,” and then meeting with a Rabbi in Israel in November 2025 where he blamed bipolar disorder and received forgiveness.

In January 2026, he took out a full-page Wall Street Journal ad that said "I am not a N**i or an antisemite... deeply regret... committed to treatment and meaningful change," citing his 2002 brain injury and bipolar diagnoses.

Should we forgive him? Was it really due to illness and are his apologies sincere? What do you think?

“Bully” just dropped with 18-tracks and produced with collaborators like the Legendary Traxster, 88-Keys, James Blake, and Ty Dolla Sign; featuring Travis Scott, CeeLo Green, Peso Pluma, and Don Toliver.

During the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 preliminaries on March 25, contestant Kamolwan Chanago went viral after her dental veneers slipped out mid-introduction onstage in front of judges and a live audience.

While delivering her opening speech in a shimmery evening gown, Kamolwan's veneers suddenly popped loose and nearly fell to the floor around the 51-minute mark of the broadcast.

She caught them discreetly, turned her back to the audience for a quick fix, then faced forward, smiled confidently, and completed her ramp walk despite the incident.

The clip exploded, getting millions of views on social media, with netizens praising her grace under pressure over any embarrassment.

There was also backlash, questioning if it’s real beauty if she has to wear veneers in order to perform. And what is the quality of those veneers or her composure if they were to fall out at such a critical moment.

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is under fire this week after he mocked Markwayne Mullin for his blue‑collar past as a plumber and MMA fighter.

Markwayne was just newly confirmed as the new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary.

Kimmel told millions of viewers, “Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low‑level MMA fighter and a plumber
that’s right, we have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now. It worked for Super Mario, so why not Markwayne?”

Clips of the segment quickly spread across social media platforms, and critics framed the joke as proof of Hollywood contempt for working‑class Americans.

Republican figures including Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Cynthia Lummis blasted Kimmel as “elitist,” with Cruz saying he’d “take plumbers over woke and unfunny comedians any day.”

Supporters of Kimmel counter that late‑night shows have always roasted politicians’ backgrounds and that the real target is Markwayne’s perceived lack of homeland security experience, not plumbing as a profession.

Markwayne himself admitted he once felt “a bit embarrassed” about being a plumber, but he got past that belief and later grew his company into Oklahoma’s largest plumbing firm.

Comedian Druski released a new skit today dressed as conservative influencer Erika Kirk and captioned it “How Conservative Women in America act 😂đŸ‡ș🇾”.

Druski, who is of African-American descent, was dressed in full white-face prosthetics, a sharp white blazer, and a blonde wig, and clearly a model of Erika Kirk.

He strutted to fireworks and American flags, and mimicked Erika’s flashy stage entrances and polished speaking style.

He also cut into day-in-the-life-of scenes where he went through drive-thru orders, pilates classes, and patriotic monologues about “protecting white men.”

The public reactions were mixed. Some fans and meme pages were noted saying the impression was “insanely accurate” and “fkn hilarious.”

On the other side, there were critics from followers and conservative creators that argued it “went too far” because he was targeting the widow of late conservative mega-influencer Charlie Kirk, who was tragically unalived just months ago.

Some critics called it “insensitive” and accused Druski of “whiteface” racism.

Druski has had many comedic skits in the past, including one where he dressed as a white man with a farmer’s tan and a mullet at a Nascar event.

What do you think? Good comedy or taking it too far? Let us know in the comments!

(12/3/2025) In a groundbreaking development, scientists at UCLA have unveiled a revolutionary therapy that targets and destroys cancer cells, offering new hope in the battle against one of the most formidable diseases of our time. This cutting-edge treatment, which utilizes advanced cell-based immunotherapy, has shown remarkable success in pre-clinical trials, particularly against aggressive pancreatic cancer. This breakthrough marks a potentially transformative moment in cancer treatment, bringing the possibility of a brighter future for countless patients.

What sets this therapy apart from traditional treatments is its resilience and adaptability. Cancer cells are notorious for their ability to mutate and evade treatments. However, the CAR-NKT cells approach the tumor from multiple angles, overwhelming its defenses and making it difficult for the cancer to evolve quickly enough to escape destruction. This multi-faceted attack strategy not only slows cancer growth but also extends survival rates in pre-clinical models.

The therapy's 'off-the-shelf' nature means it could be readily available and affordable, potentially costing around $5,000 per dose. This is significantly lower than other personalized treatments, making it more accessible to a broader range of patients. The ability to mass-produce these cells using donated blood stem cells further underscores its potential as a scalable solution for cancer treatment worldwide.

Among the most promising aspects of this therapy is its potential application beyond pancreatic cancer. The engineered CAR-NKT cells target a protein common in various cancers, including breast, ovarian, and lung cancers. This cross-cancer potential offers hope to many who face these devastating diseases, underscoring the wide-reaching implications of this breakthrough.
