Yes Prime Minister Mark Carney. Canadians are with you in your decision to end the negotiations. “Last-minute changes in the U.S. proposed terms were unfair, uneconomic and called into question the reliability of any deal.” Canadians may be nice but we’re certainly not pushovers.

In the final hours of negotiations, the U.S. tried to include restrictions on Canada's ability to strike trade deals with other countries. "Unacceptable," you said. Well, of course.

“We’ve recognized from the start that America has changed….We recognize that sometimes, its signature is written in pencil.”

“We cannot accept what they offered and we will not give what they asked,” you added. “We were not prepared to compromise Canada’s sovereignty or undermine our key industries.”

Yes Prime Minister. “We got attacked.” Canadians stand proudly with you. Time to corral the “middle-powers” against this endless tyranny.

com.unity Highlights Ep.4 — Fashion designer, Project Runway Canada winner, Leeland Mitchell, fuses his Chinese and Scottish roots to bring the fun back to fashion.

On the Project Runway Canada finale, which aired on Crave this past January, costume designer Leeland Mitchell was in complete shock that he had won. “…when she said my name, I was shook...What!?”

“A few years ago, I was hired to make an outfit for Avril Lavigne, and I did such an incredible job overnight that she hired me as her costume designer for a couple of years. I’ve worked for Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras. I made gloves for Ariana Grande.”

Mitchell plans to go even bigger, to bring joy through his fashion and hopefully make some even bigger moves to inspire other people to do the same. He’s the epitome of what MODECANADAROCKS is all about, uniting our unique heritage and differences into one big, bold and beautiful Canada.
