Hello everyone,

Winnipeg Horror Con wanted to make a statement regarding the replacement for Edward Furlong.

The process of booking convention talent normally requires months of planning and preparation. When we were given the task. to find a replacement, we were very hopeful that we could make something happen, but we also knew it was going to be a significant challenge given the limited amount of time we had to work with.

We had a notable talent lined up to fill Edward’s vacant spot at the convention, and both our team and the talent’s agent were very confident that we would be able to finalize the deal today.

Unfortunately, an issue arose while arranging flights for the talent today. Due to the last-minute nature of bringing in a replacement, we were unable to arrange travel that the talent was comfortable proceeding with.

We pursued every available option and reached out to various agencies in an effort to secure another suitable replacement. Unfortunately, with the extremely short notice, we simply weren’t able to make it happen.

We want to assure our community that we did everything in our power to provide you with another exciting talent to meet and interact with. We’re genuinely sorry that we couldn’t make it happen, and we understand the disappointment this may cause.

That being said, we’re still incredibly excited to move forward with our existing guests and believe this convention is going to be a great time, with plenty for everyone to enjoy.

We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support. We’ll see you at Winnipeg Horror Con!

We’re excited to announce that **tomorrow evening**, we’ll be revealing a **new celebrity guest** who will be taking the celebrity spot left vacant by **Edward Furlong**.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support, patience, and understanding as we navigate his absence and work to make sure Winnipeg Horror Con continues to deliver an incredible experience for our fans.

That being said, Edward wanted to personally address his fans here in Winnipeg. He has shared an **apologetic video message** for everyone who was looking forward to meeting him.

Hello everyone,

Winnipeg Horror Con was given some devastating news this evening. Unfortunately, one of our headliners, Edward Furlong, will no longer be able to attend this year’s convention.

We were informed that a scheduling conflict between talent agencies has made it impossible for Edward to attend the convention this year. We want to assure everyone that we were only given this news this evening, and we are doing everything we can to find another headliner on very short notice to fill the vacant spot.

We know there was a great deal of excitement surrounding Edward’s attendance, and we completely understand that this news will be a huge disappointment for many of his fans.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work behind the scenes to make this year’s Winnipeg Horror Con the best experience possible.
