Dr. Liu Nian, a faculty member of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, has arrived in Winnipeg to provide artistic guidance for the multicultural concert “Harmony in Voice and Diversity.”
During his visit, Dr. Liu will also work closely with the Manitoba Chinese Choir, leading rehearsals and conducting the choir in the concert. This will be a valuable opportunity for our choir members to learn, grow, and further develop their musical and choral skills.
We warmly invite you to join us for this special evening of music and culture, and to experience Dr. Liu Nian’s artistry and dynamic conducting in person.

加拿大曼尼托巴华星长城艺术团力作舞蹈 《生命的河》，自马年春晚首演以来，赢得观众一致好评，并在曼尼托巴省舞蹈大赛中荣获最高金奖！
今天，我们走出剧场，以天地为舞台，以红河为脉，以蓝天为幕，让舞蹈与自然交融，再次演绎这条流淌着生命、希望与梦想的河流。

A single dance touched the hearts of countless audiences.
A single performance earned widespread acclaim.
"The River of Life," an original production by the Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts in Canada, has captivated audiences since its premiere at the Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala. The piece received overwhelming praise and was later honored with the Highest Gold Award at the Manitoba Dance Festival.
Today, we step beyond the theater and into nature. With the Red River as our lifeline, the open sky as our backdrop, and the earth as our stage, we bring The River of Life to life once again—where dance flows seamlessly with nature, celebrating the spirit of life, hope, and dreams.

2026年长城艺术团年度汇报演出圆满结束！ 21个节目，近2小时演出，民族舞、古典舞、流行舞、街舞、爵士舞、现代舞，中国鼓、古筝、合唱等轮番登场，全面展示了一年来的教学成果和学员们的成长收获。
感谢同学们的努力与坚持，感谢老师们的辛勤付出，感谢赞助商和社会各界朋友的大力支持！
因为热爱，我们相聚；因为艺术，我们成长。期待明年舞台再见！
The 2026 Great Wall Performing Arts Annual Recital has successfully concluded! Featuring 21 wonderful performances over nearly two hours, the show showcased a wide variety of art forms, including folk dance, classical Chinese dance, pop dance, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary dance, Chinese drums, guzheng ensemble, and choir performances. The recital beautifully demonstrated the achievements of a year of dedicated training and our students' growth. We sincerely thank all our students for their hard work and perseverance, our teachers for their dedication and tireless efforts, and our sponsors and friends from the community for their generous support. We came together because of our passion, and we grow through the arts.
We look forward to seeing you on stage again next year!

The Manitoba Chinese Choir will once again join hands with the Manitoba Choral Association to present a vibrant and multicultural concert! Choirs from diverse cultural backgrounds will come together on one stage, creating a brilliant fusion of cultures through music ✨
Even more exciting, a professor from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music will be invited to lead rehearsals and serve as the guest conductor, bringing a higher level of artistic excellence to the performance.
