The Masterclass is an intensive six-week program designed for emerging filmmakers of African descent in Manitoba. From screenwriting and directing to editing and producing, participants will gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and collaborate to create their own short film.

This is your chance to build skills, grow your network, and bring your stories to life.

The 8th edition of AM-FM wrapped up this past week (Sept 15–22), and what a joy it was! We welcomed friends from around the world to celebrate African cinema and culture right here in Manitoba.

From dazzling African fashion and electrifying performances to a vibrant market, delicious cuisines, and world-class films — this edition was filled with unforgettable memories.

We are deeply grateful for your support in making it all possible. ❤️ Our founder, Ben Akoh, shares a few heartfelt words of appreciation.
