We ❤️ Oh Doughnuts! And acknowledge the generosity and love they add to our community every single day. Also, their donuts are next level yummy. Happy Pride Manitoba!

And just like that June is knocking at our door step.

June is Pride month in Canada, the US, Europe, etc. June is the month of 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility. And for the month of June, we will do our best to share stories from our staff and owner, of what Pride means to them and why it still matters so much. Because not only is Oh Doughnuts owned and operated by a Q***r Le***an, but close to 50% of our staff identify somewhere under the beautiful umbrella that is the 2SLGBTQIA+ community 🏳️‍🌈. And of course, many of our fantastic customers are members of the community, and there are so many stories to share. If you'd like to share a brief story with us to share on our socials, drop us a dm! We can share anonymously, of course. ❤

FascinAsian Film Festival - Winnipeg is opening their festival with Montreal, ma belle! We are delighted that they are showing this beautiful film of a woman's awakening. Go and check it out on Friday at 7:00 PM at WAG-Qaumajuq.

Feng Xia, a 53-year-old Chinese immigrant and mother living in Montreal, has spent her life shaped by duty — to her family, her culture, and a loveless marriage. The documentary charts the outrageous adventures of Franco Stevens, who started the most successful le***an magazine of the 90’s with a fistful of credit cards, a good run at the racetrack and a fair share of chutzpah.
