Opening up our festival weekend is Iván & Hadoum, the debut film from Ian de la Rosa.

In a greenhouse in southern Spain, Iván falls in love with his newly hired coworker, Hadoum. But his long-awaited promotion interferes with their relationship, forcing Iván to decide what kind of person he wants to be.

"The fact that Iván & Hadoum features a trans protagonist who is not characterized purely by his gender- nor his story consumed by his trans journey- marks it out as a fresh and intriguing new entry into the LGBTQ+ space." – Nikki Baughan

Catch Iván & Hadoum on Friday, September 18th at 7:00pm Gas Station Arts Centre 📽️🌈
