Stories told on their own terms.

A selection of films following women riders forging their own path across trail, track, and road.

With International Female Ride Day and Mother’s Day approaching, this felt like the right moment to bring these stories together.

Nitro doesn’t ask for permission.
It just decides how your day’s going to go.

One run feels perfect…the next, everything goes bang. 💥‼️

That’s part of it. The risk. The obsession. The reason we keep going back.

Catch stories like this on the big screen at TMFF.
Victoria (Apr 17) + Picton (May 1).

You know that moment…
You’re all set, about to hit the road, and something throws a wrench in the plan.
Loose bolt, weird noise…or yeah, not quite enough duct tape 😅

You improvise. You laugh. You figure it out as you go.
Because honestly, it’s never about everything going perfectly, it’s about what you do when it doesn’t.

🎬 110 KICKS IN THE DESERT is full of those moments…the raw, unfiltered reality of chasing the Dakar dream.

Catch it on the big screen:
📍 Victoria — April 17📍 Picton — May 1

In some parts of the world, riding a motorcycle is an act of courage.

Sometimes the stories in motorcycle films are bigger than motorcycles.

🎬SFUMATO, which screened at TMFF in 2022, follows Fatemeh, a young girl in rural Iran fighting for something many of us take for granted: the right to ride.

For her, a motorcycle isn’t just fun, it’s freedom, independence, and a way to help her family.

At a time when the world’s attention is once again on Iran, her story feels even more important to remember.

Motorcycles have always been about more than machines. Sometimes they’re about the simple freedom to move.

Sometimes dialog isn’t necessary.

Is it riding season yet?

ROMA, 1972, directed by Federico Fellini, ends with a night time ride around the enteral city. The ripping sounds of the (now) vintage bikes echoes off the buildings in contrast to the iconic buildings and monuments. Volume up.
