Sometimes a trip starts because staying put no longer makes sense.

After a deeply personal loss, Charlie Reynolds sold everything and made himself a promise: live as though he only had 30 days left.

That promise put him on a motorcycle and eventually carried him north to Kitimat, British Columbia.

Somewhere along the ride, the people he meets and the scale of Northern BC, the question starts to change. Less about how much life you can squeeze into 30 days. More about what makes the time you have feel meaningful.

THIRTY DAYS screens Saturday, October 3 at Paradise Theatre. Come for Saturday, or make it both nights with a Festival Pass.

One rider is chasing flow. Five friends are chasing adventure. A group of Germans are chasing the Pope.

In 🎬 ASCENSION, it’s the moment when thought finally disappears and there’s nothing left but the motorcycle, the road and what’s right in front of you.

In 🎬 THAT MUCH FURTHER WEST, five friends spend five days on dirt bikes through northern Spain, wondering whether it still counts as adventure when the beds are booked and everyone has a life waiting back home.

And then there’s 🎬 BETWEEN CUTS, CHROME, AND ST. PETER’S BASILICA where a group of German riders taking a custom motorcycle from Bavaria to Rome, hoping to get it past the Swiss Guard, in front of the Pope, and signed for charity.

Three very different reasons to go somewhere.
All three screen Friday, October 2 at Paradise Theatre. Between Cuts… makes its International Premiere at TMFF.

At the Ferguson house, motocross isn’t one rider’s thing. It’s a family affair.

Four Métis sisters train, race and compete alongside one another, sharing the pressure that comes with chasing the same goal, and the support that keeps them coming back to the gate.

THE FERGUSON FAMILY: A GIFT is only five minutes long, but there’s a lot in it about what racing becomes when the whole family is in it.

This isn’t a film in a hurry.

If you saw Days in January at TMFF in 2024, you already know Emil Duvander likes to give a ride some room.

With NORDIC SILENCE, he pushes that further with longer stretches of road, fewer interruptions, and a more continuous flow of image and sound that gradually pulls you into the solitude of travelling alone.

He wanted the audience to settle into the rhythm of the journey… the silence, the remoteness, temperatures dropping to -39°C 🥶and that strange sense of time that comes when it’s just you, the bike and a lot of distance.

As Emil says, “I basically try to make the kind of films I’d want to watch myself.”

NORDIC SILENCE makes its World Premiere at TMFF 2026, and Emil will be joining us at Paradise Theatre for the screening and Q&A on Saturday, October 3.

See it Saturday, or make it the full weekend with a Festival Pass.

Some bikes are hard to let go. If you’ve ever kept a bike long past the point where a sensible person would have sold it, these films are for you.

A battered 1984 BMW R80 G/S that breaks, backfires, but keeps earning its place. A 1910 Thor and 1919 Excelsior still crossing America. Old race bikes brought back after decades away. Machines with history, scars, stories, and people who aren’t quite ready to let them go.

🎬 MY FOREVER BIKE
🎬 RALLY KATS
🎬 PRAIRIE PIRATES
🎬 BETWEEN TWO WHEELS

Four very different stories from Friday night at TMFF 2026, about the machines we hang onto.
Friday, October 2 • Paradise Theatre

Years later, Willem begins the long road toward the race he’s been carrying with him since those early days in front of the television.

See Edward Unruh’s DECODING DAKAR Saturday, October 3 at Paradise Theatre as part of TMFF 2026.

Around the world by motorcycle. In under 19 days. 🌎 That’s the target.

In YALLA HABIBI!, the team take on a round-the-world record attempt. Averaging 2,000 km per day, they’re battling massive sleep deprivation, chasing time zones, borders, fuel and whatever the road decides to throw at them. 🚧🏍️🐐

It’s the kind of trip most of us have imagined in one form or another. Just not this fast.

See YALLA HABIBI! Saturday, October 3 at Paradise Theatre as part of TMFF 2026.

If you’re coming for Saturday, have a look at the full weekend too. A Festival Pass gets you both nights of films, all scheduled Q&As, plus the Opening Party on October 1.
