Séance Metal Festival Manitoba's only outdoor Metalfest This year(2019) we have now permanently changed the festivals name to Séance Metal Festival!

Séance Metal Festival started back in August 2013 known as the infamous "Carlstock" and was only meant to be a cool ass Metal birthday party/festival at the founder(Tyler Augusto)'s property. The name was then changed in 2017 to commemorate our fallen brother Chad who was very close to a lot of us in the music scene and made such a positive impact not only in music but in our lives. We ended up ge

tting a bunch of fantastic local bands and the great Vesperia and Crimson Shadows and since the first year was such a success we continued to put the fest on annually and it kept on growing and growing. More touring bands started playing, more people showed up, the stage got bigger and now we have a brand new location that's better for tenting and fitting more fans! This is a metal festival that fits many sub genres but we go out of our way to throw in bands from other genres like Punk and Rock. This festival is also a fantastic way to keep our local scene alive and pumping strong!
