International Week of the Deaf.  Fun Volleyball Tournament This is Annual Fun Volleyball Tournament. Do you want to have fun, fit, meet new/old friends and LAU So come on out!!

Hearing people are welcome to attend and meeting Deaf/Hard of Hearing people, you also could practice your signing skills. You can be either rookie or an elite volleyball player, the age of 12+...you are more than welcome to come play! For players who are under the age of 18 years old are requiring to have a guardian's signature.

The 2020 Canada Deaf Games Organizing Committee met earlier today to discuss about cancelling, postponing or going ahead with the Jeux des Sourds du Canada 2020 Canada Deaf Games.

It was decided to cancel the 2020 Canada Deaf Games that were to be held from May 12-16 in Edmonton.

The Jeux des Sourds du Canada 2020 Canada Deaf Games Organizing Committee Chairperson, Grant Underschultz and CDSA Executive Director, Alain Turpin have been regularly communicating in the last few days about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Now that the COVID-19 is a pandemic, it requires a high level of attention.

Information is being collected from public organizations, partners and sponsors involved in the 2020 Canada Deaf Games that are to be held in Edmonton from May 12-16.

A press release will be issued on Monday afternoon, March 16th to inform the Provincial Deaf Sports Associations and 257 registered athletes to inform them if the 2020 Canada Deaf Games will go ahead, be postponed or cancelled.

!!PROFIT ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Hello everyone,
This video is about the International Week of the Deaf Volleyball that happened this past month. It was good to see all of your faces and a day full of fun playing volleyball.

We would like to announce that we have earned $234.35. This money will be going towards athletes who are competing in volleyball for the Canada Deaf Games 2020 in Edmonton. If you would like to compete in CDG or ask for funding as a volleyball athlete - please feel free to contact us for more information.

I hope you enjoyed our new menu - pizza lunch. Let us know if you liked it or not in the comments below!

Next year is a special occasion, why? It is our 25th year anniversary - a big day for us! If you attend, you all might get a special treat.
