🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP THRILLER 🏆

What a finish at the Windsor Wild Winter Classic! After a hard-fought battle that forced 5 minutes of overtime, the championship was decided in a shootout, showcasing nerves of steel and pure determination.

Both teams left everything on the ice, delivering an unforgettable final filled with skill, resilience, and heart. Congratulations to our champions Huron Heat on an incredible victory, and hats off to both teams for an outstanding championship performance.

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the tournament weekend! The Windsor Wild Winter Classic Skills Competition, proudly hosted by Advanced Hockey Programs, is happening at the WFCU Centre – Grenon Rink.

Get ready for one of Southwestern Ontario’s premier house league tournaments — the Windsor Wild Winter Classic! This event promises an unforgettable weekend of skill, sportsmanship, and community.

🏒 TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Dates: January 2-4, 2026
Divisions:
House League: U9 / U11, U13, U15, U18/22
Competitive: U11BB / U11B / U13BB / U13B / U15B

Space is limited in both House League and Competitive divisions.

💡 Register early and submit payment to secure your spot! Teams will receive confirmation once registration has been approved by SPFHA.

Your tournament committee would like to thank each and every one of our teams, coaches, and parents for continuing to bring the energy and skill to our tournament. With 49 teams coming from all over Ontario, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana it has been our largest tournament to date! We hope you all had fun and hope to see you all again in 2026 👋🏻

As usual the skills competition remains one of our favorite events! We saw the talent, the energy, and all the girl hockey vibes tonight! We want to thank all teams for coming to cheer on their player and encourage everyone to tag us in pictures… we love to see all the cheering we might have missed.
