More noticings from the South of France:
· There are no food or drinks allowed in the theatres. You need to pre-plan shooting espresso in the lobby.
· In Cannes, they clap for everything they like…and boo at everything they don’t like. This includes not only films, but the logos of the producing companies and financiers on-screen too.
· Films are double subtitled, both in English and in French.
· Guests are genuinely proud of the Cannes Film Festival. There are hearty cheers whenever the Festival logo appears on-screen.
