After much anticipation, Stefano Cossalter ‘s talk is finally published - specially timed to coincide with the baseball season!

And we are super stoked to announce that it was chosen as an Editor’s pick by the TED curators!

For a speaker, a baseball umpire, a teacher, a Dad, and an overall an amazing person, this accolade is truly well-deserved!

We, too, are honoured by the distinction as it is a testament to the brilliant ideas that we feature on our stage.

We’re super stoked to announce our upcoming event! It’s a TEDx Youth event, and will be held at the Kay Meek Arts Centre on June 20th 2026.

This year’s theme challenges young people to question assumptions, reimagine what’s possible, and write their own definitions: of achievement, identity, community, and the future. Because the most powerful ideas don’t just fit into the world. They change it.

Featuring young speakers sharing ideas worth spreading across education, art, community, and everything in between, this event is designed for curious minds and everyone who believes in their potential.

There is something amazing about being in a room where everyone is leaning in to listen.

Stella’s reason for joining us that day is exactly why we do this: to create a space where ideas aren’t just shared, they’re used as fuel for our own journeys.

Whether you’re a business owner, a student, or someone looking for that next spark of inspiration, these events are for you.
