With Heartfelt thanks, The Societé d’Heritage Acadien de Wedgeport would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge everyone who assisted with organizing the “ Cozy Tea Social Event “. We are very pleased with the great success and it surpassed all expectations.
Once again, the strong Acadian community has proven its resilience and support. We are humbled and grateful for each and every one of you.
A special Thank You to the Wedgeport Tuna Museum for providing the venue, and to the Wedgeport Fire Department for the use of their coffee and tea urns.
Along with having a beautiful day, the social raised $2176.00

We’ve been busy setting the tables, polishing the teacups, and making the Tuna Museum extra warm and welcoming for you!

Come step out of the cold and into a room full of:

Have you ever sat in a church pew and wondered how many stories it holds? 💛

These benches once witnessed weddings, baptisms, Sunday mornings, laughter, tears, and generations of families gathering side-by-side.

Some of these pews came from right here in our community — meaning someone’s grandparents, parents, or even YOU may have sat on them years ago.

Instead of letting that history disappear… you can bring it home.

Authentic church benches available — and each one can be transformed into something personal and meaningful for your space.

Cost $750. All proceeds go back to the Community Center.
