Join us at the ENVigorate Closing Ceremony for a teach-in about the transformative power of climate justice education and mutual aid at our event, “Building Communities of Care in the Climate Movement”.
In the wake of the deepening climate crisis and systemic injustices, we have come together to create a space where we delve deep into the lessons learned, successes achieved, and challenges faced during the first year of our movement. Drawing from the experiences of the Climate Justice Ecosystem (CJE), we invite you to journey with us as we discuss the history of climate and environmental struggle and how to build communities of care.
Guided by the belief that hope is a discipline and mutual aid is a form of resistance, our event will feature discussions on shifting towards a culture where we care for each other, developing an abundance mindset, and resisting fatalism. Together, we will explore how to cultivate a climate movement in the image of all of us, one rooted in a joint struggle that both tears down systems of oppression and creates life-affirming ones in their place.
This event is an invitation to reimagine our world and to join hands in creating an irresistible climate movement—one rooted in hope, solidarity, and collective action. Let’s come together to shape a future where justice, sustainability, and care are central to our way of being.
