January 10 (Lunar Calendar) — Our Chinese New Year celebrations continue, this time at the B.R.O. Retirement Centre. 🧧🎉

Every year around Chinese New Year, our dance troupe visits local senior homes to bring festive joy to the residents and celebrate the season together.

Last week we performed at C.H. Senior Home (see photos from a previous post), and today we’ve had the pleasure of sharing Chinese music, dance, and holiday spirit with the seniors at B.R.O.

It’s always heartwarming to see the smiles and feel the warm welcome from everyone there. Wishing all residents a joyful and healthy New Year of the Horse! With the Chinese Dance Victoria 维多利亚中华舞蹈团

《慰问老人之二》
每逢中国年，【维市中舞团】都会走进社区的老人院，为长者们带去多彩的中国舞蹈，让原本安静的老人院多几分节日的热闹。

继一周前在 C.H.老人院演出之后，今天正月初十，我们又受邀来到 B.R.O. 老人院慰问长者，奉上一小时的包场节目，继续我们的马年春节庆祝活动。

这所老人院设有自己的小型剧院，环境优雅而安静。楼上楼下的数码展板上，都张贴着我们今晚演出的告示。

Thursday, February 26, 2026 — Lunar Calendar Jan. 10

Chinese New Year celebrations continue! Today we performed at a Berwick Retirement Center, sharing ethnic dances with the seniors. It was such a meaningful way to contribute the New Year celebration!

Grateful to be part of such a joyful event and to bring some Lunar New Year spirit to everyone there.

今天是大年初十，我们【维市中舞团】的年庆活动仍在继续：受邀前往另一家老人院慰问长者，带去一小时的包场演出。

这是一所高档老人院，自带小型剧院，环境优雅而安静。楼上楼下的数码展板都张贴着我们演出的告示。

Our Chinese Dance Victoria delighted guests with two dance performances by our youth class and one Taiji number.

The Chinese New Year celebrations continue—this time at the annual gala dinner hosted by the Victoria Chinese Commerce Association at Golden City Restaurant.

Our Chinese Dance Victoria delighted guests with two performances by our youth class. The video captures one of these vibrant performances—a traditional Mongolian chopstick dance, full of vitality, and confident movement, celebrating the rich cultures through our own original choreography.

Chinese New Year celebration continues—— Chinese Dance Victoria entertained seniors at C. H. senior’s home on Thursday evening where we celebrated Chinese New Year with the residents there 🎈🎈🎈

【记】 2026.02.19 周四 《慰问老人》

每逢春节，【维市中舞团】都会如约走进社区老人院。不是去走个形式表演一两个舞蹈，而是带去一场一个多小时的专场演出。

今天是在 C.H.老人院。今晚，他们纷纷身着喜庆的红色中、西服饰，早早坐在大厅里，等着我们来与他们一起过中国年。

大厅里红灯高挂，布置得喜气洋洋。那一抹抹的红色，不能不让我们这些游子心里感到暖洋洋。能够用舞蹈为老人们带去欢乐，我们也深感欣慰。
