Last week was an absolute hoot.
Roger’s Tv hosted a great lunch to express thanks to the CommunityProgrammers in the Okanagan area.
So here is what happened.
Linda, the MG camera person drove down from Vernon the Enterprise Way Roger’s offices
I was the other person in that car.
We had meet and greet … great servings of three different pasta dishes, a great serving of chees, cold cut, vegetables and two massive layers of ‘differing’ Italian ‘Terra Massives’ … I became the recipient of a framed thank you for 20 years….( actually 31 years, since the week I came to Vernon in 1993) …. but who would believe that, so 20 is easier to imagine for all concerned.
Then there was an ‘interview’ of me by another crew of producing volunteers. That was a nice surprise and very well done.
And I met the buyer of one of the items that I placed on Marketplace. An ironic bit of good luck for that lady and I as she met some of my Kelowna associates.
And the distribution contents labelled Swag…. useful souvenirs to keep or give away…… then It was over…. with lots of things to take home and … Bob’s Your Uncle. Thank you Roger’s…(was Shaw)…. for the opportunity to carry on the way I do. I will make a list of some last guests….. soon.
