On Friday, June 27, Jericho Beach will transform into a tranquil floating concert - paddle in by kayak, canoe, SUP or inflatable, or simply set up on the sand for a chill evening and live vibes 🌅

🛶 Launch time: 6:30 PM • Showtime: 7–9 PM
📍 Location: In the waters off Jericho Beach, Vancouver BC all-ages family-friendly

✨ Live funk‑groove sets from top East Van artists- surprise guests announced day-of! Expect sunset views over mountains and community energy on the water 🌅

Counting the days until our June 27th floating concert at Jericho!

Stuff you need to know...

Do I need a boat?

While a paddleboard, kayak or canoe is ideal for on-the-water enjoyment, you can also join by floating up in an inflatable ( :

Can I watch from shore?

Yes! We chose June 27th because high tide allows us to anchor our sailboat stage close to shore. If you spread a beach blanket you'll have a great vantage point.

Where do I check in when I arrive at Jericho Beach?

Come to Jericho Beach Kayak and look for the kiosk: you can check in or buy a ticket there, and we'll give you a wristband!

Isn't this a public beach? Why do I need a ticket?

Everyone is welcome, and there is no 'gate'. A lot of effort and care have gone into this fundraiser to support Indigenous ocean protection, so we ask folks to pitch in $15, $20 or $25.

Do I need a PFD?

The ocean is the ocean.. so ... YES! A life jacket for you, your youngsters and your pets is advisable.

What's the weather going to be like?

According to radar and forecasts, we'll enjoy clearing skies giving way to full sunshine by the time the show starts at 7 pm. Bring layers - especially if you are out on the water.
