Martin Sparrow, respected elder will be creating new carvings for Moberly Garden. Join us to learn about Musqueam carving traditions.

Martin Sparrow, respected elder, carver, storyteller and fish smoker from Musqueam Indian Band is launching a carving project at Moberly Garden. Join us to learn about Musqueam carving traditions, meet Martin, and give your thoughts on the design, colors and animals included in Martin's carving! This event is part of a series that will continue over the summer, as Martin completes a spindlewhorl and new seating in the garden.

This event is hosted in collaboration with Earthseed Collective at Moberly Fieldhouse with funding provided by the City of Vancouver.

Looking for an active and fun camp for kids this summer? Moberly's Creative REMIX Summer Camp returns! Running Monday to Friday (with the exception of holidays) from July 6th to August 14th.

This unique camp offers a creative remix of arts, culture, exploration and lots of fun! There will be outdoor and indoor activities that can range from painting, crafting, making music, dancing, cooking, drawing, and acting - mixed with exercise and environmental workshops exploring our wild Moberly gardens and beyond. Each week campers will work with a guest artist on an artistic project and develop their creativity! Out trips are planned for some weeks.

On Tuesday afternoons from 5pm-6pm, join this series of slow flow yoga classes that incorporate mindful movement, breath work, mindfulness meditation, and trauma-informed practices to help you move with intention, relax deeply, and support your healing journey.

Coming to Moberly on April 18th, one of New York's hottest Jazz guitarists returns to Vancouver!

Brooklyn-based guitarist Luca Benedetti (Jim Campilongo, Ron Carter, Steve Gadd) returns to BC (he lived here for three years) with his supercharged NYC rhythm section, featuring bassist Tony Scherr (Bill Frisell, Norah Jones, S*x Mob) and percussionist Tony Mason (John Scofield, Joan Osborne, Charlie Hunter). The instrumental trio will be supporting their third and latest release, “Slow Down For Turtles” releasing April 15 2026.

Expect a thoroughly engaging improvisational take on folk, blues, jazz and rock as the three musicians showcase their groove-heavy explorations, adventurous interplay, and dynamic approach to ensemble playing.

Shimmy into joy! Belly Dance Monday with Karime Kuri returns this Spring, running from April 13th to June 8th!

Join Level 2 (for those with prior experience) from 6pm – 7:15pm or Level 1 & 2 (Fundamentals & Choreography) from 7:30 - 8:45pm for a fusion of tradition and fun. Embrace rhythm, movement, and self-expression in a welcoming environment!
