A bit of a delay from me and posting photos but we had a few off days in Nova Scotia, right back into some big shows then a few off days in Quebec! I shall get around to posting the rest of the shows in the next couple weeks here but anyways, HALIFAX! The legendary Carleton room was packed with standing room only and despite the tiny stage and lack of lighting, this show was hype.

The journey back to good ol' Miramichi, specifically the New Maritime was was highly anticipated because the last time we were here in 2024, we witnessed the total eclipse of the sun (last photo)! A splendid time was had at the ol' Maritime Beer Company!

The Warehouse | in St Catharines, ON
May 15th | Show No. 9

Let me tell you about the curse of St Catharines. For what seemed like a perfectly normal show on the outside, behind the scenes was a different story 👀 Before the show started, we ordered a succulent Chinese meal and I happened to open a fortune cookie that stated "(Be) careful what you wish for" (picture at the end). Not going to lie, I freaked out a little bit, showed the boys and it was then decided that they would add their song "Careful What You Wish For" to the setlist. Ominous to say the least. Little did we know how the show was going to go. It started with Dan's pedal board being unplugged suspiciously before a big solo, which lead into Curtis trying to save the moment by entertaining the crowd as he literally fell off the stage. Dan broke a string. A coke was spilled on our new white t-shirts we were selling that night. A few other mishaps happened that night. The curse seemed to dwindle on for a couple days after the show but I think it has now been lifted. What a strange series of events that night had - but now we have some funny stories! Overall, the boys sounded great and the crowd was absolutely thrilled as Brass Camel played St Catharines for the first time.

The Horseshoe Tavern | in Toronto, ON
May 14th | Show No. 8

Toronto was in for a treat the night the Brass Camel boys played the legendary Horseshoe Tavern, bringing their larger-than-life prog-funk energy to one of the city’s most iconic stages. The packed crowd got a little bit of everything from the first, second and, of course, the newly released third album. One of the night’s standout moments came during “Careful What You Wish For,” when flutist Anh Phung joined the band onstage for "Careful What You Wish For" and a cheeky little Jethro Tull cover of "My God". Anh was so lovely and such a badass performer! We also got a surprise appearance of Crown Lands during the encore to perform "Immigrant Song" with Cody on vocals and Kevin on guitar.

Aaand we’re basically out of merch after this past weekend 🤣 Seriously, it’s been so much fun seeing how stoked everyone has been at these shows.
