After holding the show for over an hour in the hope that conditions would improve, we’ve had to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel tonight’s 5X Blockparty due to the weather.

We are so sorry to everyone who came out, waited with us, and everyone we had to turn away as conditions changed. We wanted nothing more than to celebrate with you tonight, but the safety of our artists, crew, team and community has to come first.

To our fans, artists, partners, volunteers and everyone who helped bring this event together, thank you for your patience, understanding and support. ❤️

This is not how we wanted our first 5X Blockparty in Mississauga to end, but one thing is certain:

We will not let this deter us. Mississauga, we will be back.

FROM THE STUDIO TO THE 5X STAGE.

J-Statik is bringing the energy to the 5X Block Party in Mississauga.

DJ. Producer. Engineer. J-Statik has built a sound that moves across Punjabi music, with a catalogue spanning his own releases and collaborations with some of the scene’s biggest voices.

From Noormahal and the Takeover EP to collaborations with artists including Karan Aujla, Raf Saperra, Chani Nattan & Inderpal Moga, Arjan Dhillon, Jasmine Sandlas and Deep Jandu, J-Statik has made his mark both behind the decks and behind the records.

Now he’s taking it from the studio to the stage.
