With word of strange activity coming from the Ice Spires, Good King Hartwick can’t be too careful. Can you quench the giants’ thirst for revenge? These hosers need all the help they can get fending off space pirates, but what if the cargo itself is even more of a threat, eh? In the desert oasis of Akharin Sangar, a group of Celestials has intervened to restore order and now rule with mercy and benevolence. One person’s “order”, however, is another person’s “tyranny”, and elements of rebellion have begun to fester. Who will you side with when all sides appear righteous? POKEMON TOURNAMENT!
GM: Chas Goguen

Players assume the role of Pokémon Trainers engaging in battle, and play with 60-card decks. Standard gameplay cards include Pokémon cards, Energy cards, and Trainer cards. Pokémon are introduced in battle from a "bench" and perform attacks on their opponent to deplete their health points. Attacks are enabled by the attachment of a sufficient number of Energy cards to the active Pokémon. Pokémon may also adjust other gameplay factors and evolve into more powerful stages. Players may use Trainer cards to draw cards into their hand, harm their opponent, or perform other gameplay functions. Card effects often rely on elements of luck, such as dice rolls and coin tosses, to decide an outcome. Gameplay relies on the usage of counters to indicate damage dealt and status effects. It is also classified as a sport.

Space for 16 players. All Ages. Beginners welcome. Multiple sessions (Saturday 10:00AM)

Dotman Playtesting Session
GM: Chas Goguen

Defend the peaceful innocence of Dotland - or conquer the landscape for the forces of evil! In Dotman, the locally-produced card game demo based off of the comic book series of the same name, two players each choose a side (heroes or villains) and battle head-to-head in a race to spread their influence across the battlefield.

Each player's characters bring special skills to the table, clashing against one another in epic showdowns, and unexpected plot twists can happen at a moment's notice to make every game play out in different and exciting ways!

Creator Chas Goguen will be on hand to walk players through the gameplay,and will be welcoming any and all feedback on how to tweak and improve the game. We look forward to your interest and participation!

Space for 6 players. All Ages (Sunday 1:30PM)
