Red Deer Highland Games

Since 1947 the Red Deer Highland Games has been the kickoff to the outdoor season & is organized by dedicated volunteers.

The Games are held the 4th Saturday in June. 2023 is the 76th Anniversary of the Red Deer Highland Games. We were very excited to see so many people out in 2022 for traditionally the first outdoor Games of the season after the recent pandemic and government restrictions of the previous two years. We hope everyone returns to enjoy and celebrate our heritage with Highland Dancing, Piping, drumming and band competitions, Heavy Events, and many exciting activities and other events. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on the entertainment of the day and fun activities for the whole family!
