The UBCC would like to express their appreciation and thanks to James Barth for everything he does at the Union Bay Boat Launch. James has always been very welcoming to our overnight guests. He has been doing this without any complaints for at least 10 years. We have received cards of thanks from travelers, praising how warm and friendly James is. James not only looks after our boat launch he cleans up our ocean/beaches and he cleans up dumping grounds. This man does it selflessly to better our community and our surrounding areas. We are sorry James that a post on the Union Bay Bulletin by a local upset you. It was also upsetting for us as well. We consider you our Union Bay Ambassador!
Please don’t let one person take away your passion to volunteer. We appreciate you and all you do for our community. Keep up the good work James!
