Twillingate / NWI Fish, Fun & Folk Festival The charming oceanside town of Twillingate is know worldwide for its food, entertainment, & scenery Fish, Fun & Folk – it’s all here!

The Fish Fun & Folk Festival takes place annually during the last full weekend in July at Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada, and is one of the largest and longest running folk festivals in the Province of Newfoundland. The Festival is proud of its now world-wide recognition and success as a family-oriented Festival celebrating the culture of Newfoundland. The festival’s celebrations start with a parade through town and is followed by traditional Newfoundland music, fireworks, folk music, adult dances, a street dance, fireworks, bonfire, a craft fair, games, a variety of fish meals, special church services, kids/family activities and more!

That’s a wrap on the 44th Annual Fish, Fun & Folk Festival! A massive thank you to everyone who came out and made this year so special.

We couldn't pull this off without our incredible sponsors, vendors and local businesses. A huge shoutout to our hardworking student crew, Town of Twillingate, especially Corey Rogers and Dave Stuckey, New World Sounds, all of our talented performers, and every single volunteer who lent a hand!

A special round of applause goes to our Event Manager, Christina, for working her magic and going above and beyond.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated committee pours countless hours into planning this festival, stepping away from their own families and personal time to make it all happen. Truthfully, this event would never happen without them, their passion and sacrifice bring it to life year after year.

We’re already counting down to next year, mark your calendars for the 45th Fish, Fun & Folk Festival, July 21–25, 2027! See you then! 🐟🎶
