NOVEMBER EVENTS
Two very different ways to spend an evening in Central Italy this November — without leaving Toronto!
Two regions we love, two very different evenings. We hope you can join us for one — or both!
FESTA DELLA VENDEMMIA — HARVEST DINNER
Sat Nov 7
Together with Gaia's Plate and Mari Bakery, we are recreating a little taste of the grape-harvest celebrations I grew up with in Tuscany.
For one evening, Tre Mari will take on the feel of an old Tuscan fattoria, with chestnuts roasting and the grill going as you arrive, followed by a sit-down Tuscan harvest feast.
I’ll also be sharing a few stories and traditions from vendemmia in Tuscany along the way.
This is a dinner, not a cooking class! Seats are limited

A TASTE OF UMBRIA — Sat Nov 28
Later in the month we travel to Italy’s cuore verde for a hands-on cooking class inspired by Umbria’s autumn table.
With the help of Marco Marani We’ll make handmade Strengozzi pasta with wild boar ragu', Umbrian-style veal and lentils, mushrooms, cavolo nero and Rocciata — a rustic apple, walnut and dried-fruit pastry — while exploring some of the ingredients and traditions that make this lesser-known region so special.
