Hailing from the great tri-city area, ONE MORE LANE is crashing the party at NEVER GOING AWAY. Three members from the massive KW chamber folk ensemble, A Horse Named Friday, branched off on a new side quest this past year, creating this mean, lean powerviolence trio. In true KW fashion, the band have played a ton of shows, especially a ton of mixed bills, confusing and blowing the minds of many audiences. Blast beats, screeching feedback, dual vocals, Greg Ginn-esque guitar work, what more could you want?

VERIFY

You won't find them on streaming, or on social media, but you will find VERIFY at NEVER GOING AWAY. This vegan straight edge band intially came together as a powerviolence duo, and soon released their first demo "VAXXED" in 2020, expressing the ever-growing disdain we all feel with this garbage corpo-dominated online experience that continues to poison our minds. They went on to add a third live-member and release a S/T EP in 2022, then "HARDCORE DEMO" in 2024. With members that play in other notable Montreal bands such as Street Gloves, Recall, & formerly Vile Intent, the band leads by example by being fully independent, away from the algorithms, away from the scroll traps that we've all fallen for, but they lead with sympathy, with the intent to educate and connect in more meaningful ways. F**k corporations, f**k surveillance states.

TORPOR
Montreal, QC

For the first and only other time since 2018, trippy pogo punks TORPOR return to Toronto at NEVER GOING AWAY. This outstanding band got their start in Ottawa mid-late 2010's after being good friends for years. The group went on to put out two EPs in 2018, "Culture Sanglante" and "Wasted Innocence". They would go on to play a ton of shows and tour with some tremendous hardcore punk bands that would come through to the surrounding Montreal area. Some members of the band eventually moved apart to other cities and would go on to play in a bunch of their own great bands such as D***x, Influx, The Not, Garden of Love, and a bunch more. TORPOR have only played a handful of times post-lockdown, this gig will be their first performance in two years since playing Deadbolt's LP release show. Show the f**k out for this legends.

Kicking off NEVER GOING AWAY this year is none other than St. Catherines' latest hardcore supergroup UNREAL. Featuring members of legendary Niagara acts such as Shingen, BFD, Windoc, & Reality Denied, this super fresh project just put out a 3-song demo back in August. With this release they’ve been making some waves, scratching that old-school hardcore itch with some biting pro-working-class and anti-fascist lyricism.
