Design Exchange, a not-for-profit museum funded by its members and donors, is Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the pursuit of design excellence and preservation of design heritage. At the crossroads of multiple disciplines, from furniture and architecture to graphics and fashion, our exhibitions, talks, workshops, and youth education programs are curated to reflect the popular zeitgeist and contemporary culture while demonstrating the relevance and importance of design to everyday life. Last weekend De Mello Coffee turned The Design Exchange into the ultimate coffee lover’s paradise for the Coffee Culture Festival! ☕✨

Guests journeyed through three buzzing floors of pure caffeine heaven, tasting incredible roast profiles, and taking home artisanal beans from the bustling marketplace.

Meanwhile, top baristas went head-to-head, crafting mind-blowing latte art that looked almost too good to drink. 🔥🏆

A legendary night for a legendary Raptor. We were honored to bring “A Night For Seven” to life at Design Exchange in celebration of Toronto’s own Kyle Lowry!

From the iconic Art Deco setting in the heart of the Financial District to a curated culinary experience crafted by , every detail of the evening was designed to match the grit, heart, and hustle of the Greatest Raptor of All Time.

Toronto, get ready to experience art that literally moves with you! 🌌🔊

Nuit Blanche is taking over the Design Exchange with an extraordinary interactive installation that comes alive only when you are there.

Centering on four massive seven-foot tall speakers, suspended sheer sculptures, and glowing projected particle systems, this space responds dynamically to the crowd. As more people enter, the installation amplifies, reacting directly to the presence, sounds, and energy of the audience!

🤝 Become part of the artwork: Grab a paper kit to delicately add to the structures, adjust the chains, and leave a tactile mark for the next visitor. Every interaction leaves a footprint, creating a collective memory of the night. The paper kits are limited and will drop every hour on the hour.
