The Station is where you can find the structure of an office and important resources like legal services, health benefits, and more. Members get to be part of a community of like-minded professionals, access to industry events, and all the coffee they can handle. Our members are a group of diverse, talented, and inspiring creativ

e professionals. We’re pushing boundaries and passionate about finding innovative solutions for clients and personal projects. We’re located on the lower level of the gorgeous and historical 401 Richmond building. It’s a thriving arts and culture hub in the heart of downtown Toronto. Over 140 galleries, artists, not-for-profits, and shops share our home.

Good Gorilla is permanently closing on June 30th, 2021.

Thank you for 5 wonderful years.
(Some would say 6 years — as you may have been part of the earlier weekly creative talks.)

Good Gorilla has always been a labor of love. Not all is gloom, as we believe community can survive and transform past a physical space! With that said, we hope to see new clusters forming independent of GG and led by new people in the future.

Thank you to the management team and community, who provided us with a forever welcoming environment to thrive in. We are grateful for all the kindness and love we have received from so many of you.

Our talented friends came in and used a high-end 360 camera to capture our beloved space. This VR tour will be perfect for anyone who wants to see what we have implemented and what your new office could look like without coming in physically. Gotta check it out online before you commit to a new social bubble IRL! We get it, we’d want the same. We will send out the link when it’s live next week!

It’s a happysad tour for those of us who used to be there everyday and no longer are. At least we can pretend to walk through the space online and imagine Scotch and Leon trotting about asking for pets 😢.

We understand that it is not an easy step to come back! So try the new environment before you decide whether you feel comfortable with our safety guidelines:

🪑The space is reconfigured to allow more space between each member.
😷Face Coverings will be required inside the office, except when you are seated at your desk.
🤧Sneeze Guards have been put in place at different locations within the space.
🧴Sanitizers, wipes and masks are available throughout.
🦠MERV 13 antimicrobial filters are added to our A/C Units.
🧤Cleaners are present every weekend for a deep cleaning of the space.
📝A Community Guidelines is established to set out principles that will help keep all of us as well as others safe.

Our priority at Good Gorilla continues to be the health and safety of our community. Space reconfigurations, face coverings, sneeze guards, hand sanitizers and antimicrobial filters have all been implemented as part of our approach towards re-opening. See you soon! This is a special edition of Community Lunch, since we'll also be hosting 🏛️Town Hall🏛️ to discuss updates about the future of the space and as always, we want to hear your ideas or requests for the community!
Open to all exploring freelancers, digital nomads, and creative experts, this event is a space for people to catch up and share a meal (albeit virtually this time) together.
