The 26th Canada's Cup is in the books! The last day started with a postponement on shore which sparked a lawn bowling tournament. The first gun went just after 2pm. Defiant was successful in winning the last two races to take the cup 7-0. There was a big celebration back at RCYC - The Royal Canadian Yacht Club with great sportsmanship demonstrated by both teams.

Day 2 of the Canadascup started with on shore postponement. First signal was at approximately 12:30pm with 6-7 knots of wind. Defiant victorious in the day's two races to lead the series 5-0.

Great turn out of spectators watching the races and cheering on the teams!

The 2020 Canada’s Cup will be hosted by the Royal Canadian Yacht Club September 18 to 26. The event will be raced in the newly developed Melges IC37.

The first day of the Canada's Cup included close racing with Team Zing leading in two of the three races. Defiant prevailed winning all three races due in large part to their match racing experience. Looking forward to a great day of racing today.
