Bi+ Arts Festival

Bi+ Arts Festival Bi+ Arts Festival We are an all-volunteer, Toronto-based community arts festival featuring celebrating queer creativity.

Our programming includes art exhibitions, a zine, pop-up markets, author and poetry readings, workshops, panels and more. Our VISION

To create an annual Bi+ Arts Festival that celebrates bisexual and pansexual visibility, culture and history. Our GOALS

Create a space for the bi+, 2spirit, fluid and pansexual communities and our allies to come together, to create, collaborate, and engage with new

work. Challenge bisexual and pansexual erasure in the performing and visual arts. Make visible the invisible amongst us, by highlighting the work of marginalized groups, including those marginalized by gender expression and identity, race, culture, ethnicity, size, sex, class, and ability. Forge links between different generations, cultures, identities, and abilities through showcasing bi+ culture and history. Empower first-time and emerging artists to participate fully. Promote the work of bi+ makers and artisans through a one-day Art & Craft Fair.

Happy New Year to our beautiful, creative, and diverse community!

And that’s a wrap for the 2025 Bi+ Arts Festival!

Thank you to everyone who shared their art, their craft, their voice, and their time to make this year’s fest one to be remembered. What a joyful outpouring of creativity and community. Our hearts are so full 🩷 💜💙

Huge shout out to all the artists who participated, all our workshop instructors, and all the amazing volunteers behind the scenes who made it all happen. And of course, extra kudos to the best audience a fest could ever have.

This weekend’s programming would not have been possible without the support of and the Province of Ontario, our partner venues The Rivoli, WPG & Moon Art + Books, and One Properties, and The Printing House and Toronto Bi+ Network - thank you for your support!

Finally, we want to share an extra special thank you to the festival founder Catherine Jones - you planted the seeds and nurtured a loving, supportive space for bi+ folks that’s still going strong.

Thanks to J.M. for posting some great pics from last night's Authors Showcase! It was a wonderful night, the vibe in the room was dynamic, full of collective support and rage, it was very "q***r, as in free palestine."

This afternoon is the textile art show with optional participatory weaving, tomorrow is workshops on postcard making and speed friending, a multi-artist visual art show, and the cabaret with drag and music and burlesque and comedy!
