🎾 OTA Kicks Off the 2026 Community Tennis League Season!

The OTA welcomed players to Sobeys Stadium on May 10 for a Community Tennis League (CTL) season kick-off event. Participants competed in a fun round-robin format across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced divisions, enjoying competitive matches and the opportunity to connect with fellow players.

The event highlighted the Ontario Community Tennis League, a Tennis Canada program delivered by the OTA, offering flexible and social match play opportunities at locations across the province throughout the year.

🎾 Green Means Go Outdoor Season Kicks Off at Palgrave!

The OTA launched the 2026 Green Means Go outdoor season last weekend at Palgrave Tennis Club, bringing together players aged 50+ for a fun day of tennis, instruction, and social play.

A special thank you to Coach Andres Findlay for coordinating a fantastic event and helping get the season off to a great start. 👏

Green Means Go continues to provide active adults with opportunities to learn, play, and connect through tennis across Ontario.

🎾 Arseneault Captures ITF Doubles Title in Spain!

Ariana Arseneault (Richmond Hill) earned her second ITF doubles title of the season, partnering with Great Britain’s Alicia Dudeney to win the ITF W35 event in Estepona, Spain.

The top-seeded duo defeated Portugal’s Ana Santos and Angelina Voloshchuk 6-2, 6-4 in the final to claim the championship. Ariana also enjoyed a strong singles run, reaching the quarter-finals.

Congratulations to Ariana and Alicia on a fantastic result! 👏🇨🇦

🎾 Dabrowski Wins WTA Doubles Title in Strasbourg!

Gabriela Dabrowski (Ottawa) and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani captured the women’s doubles title last week at the WTA 500 event in Strasbourg, France. The top-seeded duo earned a 7-5, 6-4 victory in the final, marking their second title together this season. 👏

The week also featured a strong singles performance from Victoria Mboko (Burlington), who advanced to the final before finishing runner-up to Emma Navarro.
