To help us cover some overhead & admin costs coming out of pocket we need to get us through the next couple months. And for small honorariums for a youth & elder we tan hides with.

Uncontrollable circumstances have us unable to access our grant funding this summer.

Our grant funds have been put on hold due to factors that are completely out of our control.

This has put us in a really difficult situation with our inner team working behind the scenes without compensation & covering costs out of pocket.

Sadly, we’ve had to post-pone our annual 2025 hide camp. This is the first summer we can’t gather since we started in 2020. We know how important & needed this space is to our community.

We will keep doing everything we can to get access to our grant funding back on tract.

Learn about the foundations of traditional brain tanning/ smoke tanning and rawhide making.

Please Note:
Our 2025 hide camp prioritizes Two Spirit/ Indigiqueer/ 2SLGBTQQIPAA+ indigenous youth from Moraviantown, Aamjiwnaang, Walpole Island, Kettle and Stoney Point, Chippewas of the Thames, Munsee, Oneida Nation of the Thames, Treaty 29 and neighboring towns, cities and counties (ex. Sarnia, London, Windsor, Chatham, Chatham-Kent/ Lambton/ Middlesex/ Essex/ Elgin Counties)

Not everyone who fills out a registration form will be accepted to attend camp.
As we have limited spots and resources available.

We will be confirming successful and unsuccessful applications by April 25, 2025.
