LUNA’S PULSE 2026 — THANK YOU
If you have a moment to walk with our thoughts for a minute we would cherish your time.
It’s been a couple of months since Luna’s Pulse, and we’ve finally had a chance to reflect on what we accomplished together.
The truth is, we weren’t always sure we were going to pull it off.
The amount of work that goes into building something like Luna’s Pulse is difficult to put into words. This year brought an entirely new set of challenges as we moved into a new building, worked through unfamiliar logistics, and tried to build the support we needed to bring our vision to life.
There were moments of genuine uncertainty. Would we have enough help? Could we get everything built in time? Would the community show up and support what we were trying to create?
And somehow, through an incredible amount of work and the support of so many people, it all came together.
First, we want to recognize some incredible people and organizations.
To the Terrace Curling Club, thank you for welcoming us into your building and working alongside us through all the challenges of transforming it into something extraordinary. A special thank-you to Donna Diana for your hard work, patience, and coordination throughout the process.
To Grace Davidson, our volunteer coordinator, we can’t thank you enough. The extra hours, the organization, the skill, and the incredible talent you bring to pulling people together have been invaluable. We’ve absolutely loved growing alongside you, and we’re so grateful to have you as part of this journey.
To Dan Diego’s, Arabisk, and Chances Casino, thank you for helping us feed and take care of our headlining artists.
To Sunbelt Rentals and West Point Rentals, thank you for providing equipment and support that helped make the weekend possible.
To Nigel and Darren with Atmosphere Lighting and Inspire Audio, thank you for your incredible work on the lighting and audio engineering that helped bring the experience to life.
To the many local businesses and community members who donated meals, gift cards, prizes, equipment, and resources, thank you. Those contributions helped us create excitement beyond the music and gave us opportunities to give something back to the people attending.
And to every single volunteer, you were absolutely essential. You gave your evenings, weekends, energy, and enthusiasm to something you believed in. You showed up, worked hard, solved problems, and helped create an experience for thousands of moments of joy. You truly made the difference.
From the beginning, we wanted Luna’s Pulse to be more than an event put on by a production company. We wanted it to be a community project. Something that brought together local businesses, artists, volunteers, organizations, and people who simply wanted to be part of creating something special.
And that’s exactly what happened.
But we also want to share a little of what happens behind the scenes.
The work doesn’t end when the music stops.
For the past couple of months, we’ve been sorting through thousands of transactions, reconciling our books, paying suppliers, subcontractors, and artists, fulfilling commitments, and trying to bring everything to a proper close.
And just like last year, at some point in that process, I swore I was never doing this again.
These events are incredibly taxing. They demand an almost unreasonable amount of passion, love, dedication, and personal sacrifice.
Which brings us to three people who deserve some recognition.
Valene Courtney, Caleb Courtney, and Taylor Dilley.
The three of us are the backbone of Electric Sinphony Productions. We’re the risk takers, the problem solvers, and the people who refuse to let things fall apart when the pressure becomes overwhelming.
We’ve given up countless evenings, weekends, and hours of sleep. We’ve taken on enormous financial and personal risks, worked through exhaustion, and continued pushing forward even when life outside of these events was already demanding more than we had to give.
This year was especially difficult for us personally. There were challenges behind the scenes that most people will never know about.
But we kept going.
And I think it’s worth explaining why.
We’ve spent countless hours dreaming about how to recreate some of the feelings we experienced as children.
That sense of wonder. The excitement of discovering something new. The feeling of being completely immersed in an experience, surrounded by people who are just as excited as you are.
We think deeply about how people experience our events.
How do we create more opportunities for connection? How do we make people feel welcome? How do we surprise them? How do we elevate their joy? How do we build spaces where people feel comfortable letting go of judgment, expressing themselves, and experiencing something beautiful together?
Our commitment to consent, inclusion, and mutual respect isn’t an afterthought. It’s foundational to everything we’re trying to build. We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or behaviour that compromises the safety and dignity of others.
These are intentional choices.
We’re not just trying to put on bigger parties.
We’re trying to build a community that learns to play together, connect with one another, and rediscover a little of that childlike wonder.
A community where people feel safe being themselves. Where strangers become friends. Where art, music, and shared experiences remind us how extraordinary it can feel just to be alive together.
And when we look at this photo, we see exactly why we keep doing it.
Every smiling face, every raised hand, every person who showed up and became part of something bigger than any one of us.
That’s what makes the sacrifices worthwhile.
To everyone who purchased a ticket, believed in us, volunteered, contributed, or helped spread the word, thank you.
To the City of Terrace and everyone who supported our vision, thank you for believing that experiences like this have a place in our community.
We truly love you guys, and we’re incredibly grateful for what we’ve been able to build together.
And despite swearing we’d never do this again…
We’ve been dreaming up something extraordinary for New Year’s Eve.
It’s going to be a very different experience, with much more limited capacity, so keep your eyes open and get your tickets early.
With love,
Electric Sinphony Productions
