CONFLUIR (Version ENGLISH)
In Peru, the headwaters of the Amazon River cut through the Andes Mountains and help sustain resident communities as well as the most diverse ecosystem on Earth. As the energy demands of Peru increase, the currently free flowing Marañón River faces over 20 proposed dam projects, two of which have already been approved.
Our international team of scientists and river experts spent 28 days rafting the Marañón while documenting the natural and cultural resources that would be eminently impacted by proposed dam projects.

Chasing Wild: Journey Into the Sacred Headwaters
Three friends set off on a 400km bikepacking and packraft expedition through the heart of the sacred headwaters in northwestern British Columbia, birthplace of three critical salmon rivers, and home to the Tahltan people.
In the wake of the devastating Mount Polley Mine disaster, the team’s goal is to understand what is at stake as a wave of new mines are developed across this remote corner of the province.
Their journey offers an exciting and sobering window into this wild landscape as they pedal through vast boreal forest, paddle frigid whitewater, battle monster trout, outrun a grizzly, learn about the Tahltan’s fight to protect their homeland and glimpse inside a massive open pit mine.

8 Days Alone in Temagami - Part 1. Solo Canoe Trip.
Lake Trout Supper. Insane Bugs and High Winds. During peak black fly and mosquito season, I ventured deep into the vast area of Temagami for an 8 day solo trip. Covering over 100kms, I encountered some insane weather, black flies and mosquitoes that wanted to torment me 24/7, beautiful wildlife, and excellent fishing.
Through some uncertain days on this trip, I learned a great deal about myself and ultimately fell even more in love with nature and adventuring within it depths. In Part 1, I begin my trek. I venture to beautiful Wolf Lake for night 1, and then push through windy conditions to stay on Southeast Bay for night 2.
I have some great shore fishing for lake trout, and prepare one for a tasty supper
