🎄✨ Rain or shine, the Spirit of Sylvan Yuletide Festival was proud to be part of the 1913 Days Parade this past weekend! ✨🎄

While Mother Nature brought a few showers throughout the weekend, that didn't stop us from joining the celebration and sharing some holiday spirit in the middle of summer. Our very own Sparkles, along with Santa, were excited to greet parade-goers and spread smiles along the route.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to SLHC for sponsoring our parade float. Your support helps us continue bringing the magic of the Spirit of Sylvan Yuletide Festival to our community year after year.

A special thank you also goes to Sunsport Recreation for generously providing one of their boats for our float. It was the perfect way to showcase our festival and celebrate Sylvan Lake's unique lakeside spirit.

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the parade despite the rainy weather. Community events like 1913 Days remind us how fortunate we are to live in such a vibrant and supportive community.

We can't wait to see everyone again this December as we celebrate another magical Spirit of Sylvan Yuletide Festival! 🎅🎄✨

🎄✨ Can you believe it? The Spirit of Sylvan Yuletide Festival is heading into its 14th year right here in Sylvan Lake! ✨🎄

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve proudly donated over $100,000 to local charities and initiatives over the years — and we’re just getting started.

Yes, we know… it might feel a *little* early to be talking about Christmas… but behind the scenes, planning is already underway to make this year’s Festival bigger and brighter than ever!

To make the magic happen, we need YOU! We’re currently looking for passionate volunteers to join us as Board Members, Committee Members, and Event Volunteers.

This meeting is a chance to come together, reflect on the past year, celebrate what we’ve accomplished, and look ahead to the future of the Spirit of Sylvan Yuletide Festival. We’ll be sharing updates on the festival, reviewing our finances, electing board members, and welcoming ideas from our community.

Whether you’ve been involved for years or are newly interested, we’d love to see you there. Your voice and participation help keep the spirit of Yuletide alive in Sylvan Lake!

All members in good standing are encouraged to attend.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the residents and businesses of Sylvan Lake, we are honored to donate $3,000 to the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library in support of their Snacks in the Stacks program🍎

We were also happy to contribute items to help stock their Little Free Pantry, supporting community members who need it the most.

Each year, the library welcomes approximately 45,000 visitors, circulates over 84,000 items, and hosts more than 800 community programs. They serve a rapidly growing community from just 7,200 square feet of space - less than half of the recommended space for a community our size.

The library is a cornerstone of Sylvan Lake. It’s a welcoming, inclusive space where people of all ages can learn, connect, and feel a sense of belonging. From literacy and creativity to community support, the programs they offer are truly essential.

This donation is just one small example of how amazing Sylvan Lake is. We’re so proud of our community for coming together to make this happen💙
