The 11th annual South Fraser Regional Science Fair for Grades 7 – 12 students from Surrey and Delta public and independent schools will be held on April 6 and April 7, 2017, at Kwantlen Polytechic University's Surrey Campus. We will be sending up to 8 students (all expences paid) trip to Regina, Saskatchewan for the Canada Wide Science Fair

THURSDAY, APRIL 6
3:30 - 4:30 PM
Participa
nts to set up project displays. Safety checks of projects - all students remain at their projects until safety checks are complete.
4:00 - 5:00 PM
Photos of participants with projects. Participants must remain with their projects until dismissed.
5:00 PM
Welcome and special instructions followed by meal break. Participants make individual arrangements.
5:30 - 8:30 PM
Judging. ONLY judges and project participants are to be in the exhibit areas of the Galleria during adjudication. Participants stay at their displays ready to discuss them with multiple judges.
9:00 PM approx
Participant dismissal as authorized by the Chief Judge. Displays are to be left in the Galleria, but all valuables should be taken home. FRIDAY, APRIL 7
1:00 - 2:00 PM
Additional adjudication of projects. Participants are to be at their project displays.
2:00 - 2:30 PM
Student Choice Award judging.
2:30 - 3:15 PM
First science presentations
3:30 - 4:15 PM
Second science presentation
4:30 - 6:00 PM
Public viewing of projects -- students to remain at their projects and be ready to discuss them with visitors, friends, and families.
6:00 - 7:00 PM
Meal break. Participants make individual arrangements.

Awards Ceremony.
8:00 - 8:30 PM
Photos with Canada-Wide Science Fair winners. Take down of projects - all projects must be removed from the Galleria by 8:30 PM.
8:30 PM
Dismissal. Participants chosen to attend the Canada Wide Science Fair stay until 9:00 PM.
