Our Throwback “Rumours” Turkey Fest Night is happening tomorrow at The Portuguese Club, and DJ Hernandez is ready to bring the music, the memories, and that classic Strathroy Saturday night energy back to life.

This is the night to call the group chat, round up the crew, and make proper Turkey Fest plans. Whether you were there for the original Rumours nights, or you just want a fun night out with good music, drinks, food, and a packed dance floor, this is the one. 👀

The Portuguese Canadian Club of Strathroy is proud to announce that this year, FREE SOPA IS BACK at our Festa do Divino Espírito Santo. 🇵🇹❤️

This is more than a meal.

The tradition of Sopa do Divino Espírito Santo has always been rooted in faith, generosity, sharing, and bringing the entire community together around one table. It was never meant to be about who could afford to attend. It was meant to welcome everyone.

And this year, we are proud to bring that tradition back the way it should be.

Join us on Sunday, June 28th as we celebrate our faith, our Portuguese heritage, and one of the most meaningful traditions in our community.

But the celebration starts the night before. 👀

For the very first time in Strathroy, we will also be celebrating Festa de São João on:

Turkey Fest Saturday night just got a whole lot louder. 🔥

We’re officially excited to announce that DJ Hernandez will be taking over the music for our Throwback “Rumours” Turkey Fest Night at The Portuguese Club!

This night is all about bringing back that classic Strathroy Saturday night feeling — the music, the crowd, the dancing, the memories, and the energy that made Rumours such a staple during Turkey Fest weekend.

And we’re not just bringing back the music… we’re bringing back some Rumours classics too:

🌺🌴 TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! 🌴🌺

School’s Out Luau Beach Party is happening tonight at The Portuguese Club! 🎉

We’re kicking off the summer vibes with music, dancing, friends, beach party energy, and another fun night for local youth in Strathroy.

🕡 Tonight from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM

🎓 Grades 5 to 8 only

🎟️ Admission: $10 at the door + 1 canned or non-perishable food item
All food donations go directly to 37 Frank Street Youth Centre.

🍕 Food and drinks will be available for purchase, including Sumol, pop, water, chips, chocolate bars, and hot dogs.

Beach gear, luau outfits, and summer vibes are encouraged! 🌊🌺

Parents, thank you for helping us keep these youth dances going strong. We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another safe, fun, and positive night at The Portuguese Club.
