🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from the Strathmore & District Agricultural Society and the Strathmore Stampede! 🦃

This Thanksgiving, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the people who make everything we do possible.

From our incredible volunteers and dedicated staff to our sponsors, partners, and the community that continues to show up and support us year after year, we have so much to be thankful for.

Our organization is about more than just events. It’s about bringing people together, celebrating our community, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

To everyone who plays a part in making it all happen, whether behind the scenes or in the grandstands, thank you for being part of our family.

From all of us, we wish you and your families a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Over 30 years of dedication, and a well-deserved honour. 👏

Congratulations to Darrell Damen on being named the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association’s Committee Person of the Year!

A longtime member of the Strathmore Stampede Rodeo Committee, Darrell has helped with nearly every aspect of the Stampede. Today, he serves as our dirt manager, putting countless hours into ensuring the best possible ground conditions for our rodeo athletes and chuckwagon racers.

The Strathmore Stampede and the Strathmore & District Agricultural Society Board of Directors are incredibly proud to call Darrell a member of our rodeo family.

Thank you for everything you do, Darrell. This recognition is well earned! 🤠

From Strathmore to the national stage. 🤠🇨🇦

The Strathmore and District Agricultural Society is incredibly proud to recognize our 2024 Miss Strathmore Stampede, Tenley Warburton, as a finalist for Miss Rodeo Canada 2027!

Tenley has always embraced the cowgirl lifestyle in every sense, from moving cattle down a mountainside and riding grand entry at the rodeo, to growing up competing in gymkhanas and showing horses, cattle and even swine through 4-H.

Her passion for agriculture, rodeo and community continues today as she works toward her Bachelor of Education at Red Deer Polytechnic while giving back through the Miss Strathmore Queen Committee, the Hanna Rodeo Board and as a Porchlight ambassador.

We are so proud to see Tenley carry the spirit of the Strathmore Stampede onto the national stage and represent our community one more time.

Congratulations, Tenley — Strathmore is behind you all the way!

A special thank you to the Strathmore Stampede Rodeo Flag Carriers!

2026 marked the inaugural year of the Strathmore Stampede having its own team of Rodeo Flag Carriers, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group to represent the Stampede. Paige Aarbsy, Emma Hassard, Grace Lafrese, Tylee McArthur, Andi Hope-Rapp, Alycia McArthur and Oaklyn Schiffner proudly carried the flags throughout all four days of the 2026 Stampede, bringing pride and energy to every rodeo performance.

A special thank you to Bandy Schiffner for her efforts in organizing these ladies and helping bring the Stampede’s first official Rodeo Flag Carrier team together.

Thank you all for being a part of history at the 2026 Strathmore Stampede! 🐎

The art of the stock dog. 🐕🤠

It takes patience, communication, instinct and years of practice to build the kind of partnership on display at the Strathmore Stampede. A beautiful tradition that showcases the skill of both handler and dog.

Well folks, as the dust settles on the 2026 Strathmore Stampede, there’s one more round of applause to give.

To our incredible corporate partners—thank you. Your support is the reason this tradition rides on year after year. From the grandstands to the arena floor, every moment was made possible because of your commitment to our community.

So tip your hat to the businesses that help keep the gates open and the western spirit alive. We couldn’t do it without you. Until next year! 🤠
