Meet your teacher: Sarah Nolen 🌟
Sarah has trained with Sesame Workshop, performed at international puppetry festivals, built a puppet for Netflix, and has been teaching puppet improv at comedy houses and puppet theaters for years. She's also the third-ever Resident Artist at Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, MA.
Oh — and she's a comedy improv grad who genuinely loves monitor work.
Her Improv for TV Puppetry workshop is a 2-session deep dive into the most fun skill you didn't know you were missing. Characters. Scenes. The frame as your playground.

SpringWorks Festival is looking for a full-time Production Assistant for our World in a Weekend 2026 Festival.

This is an 8-week contract via Canada Summer Jobs. Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive), be a Canadian Citizen, able to work as a Stratford Local, and have Production experience.
Start date: June 8 2026
End date: August 2 2026 (With Flexibility to continue part-time if needed)
Hours: 35 hours a week
Rate: $19.50 / hour

The position will primarily work as a theatre technician and experience with lighting and sound is an asset. This individual would be working under our Technical Director and Artistic Producer to execute the technical needs of our World in a Weekend Festival. Being able to lift up to 50lbs is required as this job also encompasses set up and strikes of various venues. Having someone who is capable of working independently with guidance from team leads, is also an asset as we are a small but mighty team.
