Fair Secret Mission Complete!

A HUGE thank you to our undercover, moonlight-driving judges Neil and Ginny for braving the darkness and cruising around town to judge our 2026 SRMAS Fall Fair Hay Bale Sculpture Contest!

Armed with flashlights, judging skills, and probably wondering if they were looking at hay… or some very confused farm creatures

WOW! What an AMAZING day!

As we catch our breath (and maybe find a few things we forgot we packed ), we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our 145th Fall Fair such a success!

To our volunteers — from our amazing high school students, community volunteers, other Agricultural Societies, and our own SRMAS crew — THANK YOU! We truly appreciate every hour, every helping hand, and every “sure, I can do that!”

To our sponsors and Friends of the Fair — THANK YOU! Your financial support helps us continue offering the Kids Zone FREE for all children. Your generosity makes a real difference!

To all our vendors — thank you for joining us! We hope you had a successful day, enjoyed the fair, and that we’ll see you all back next year!

And finally, to our community and beyond — YOU showed what community spirit is all about! The support, pride in our town, and willingness to support one another was truly incredible.

WOW! What an AMAZINGLY busy day!

We’ll be working on getting posts out for all the vendors who have sent in their information, so keep your eyes peeled!

And apparently South River is getting pretty darn good at growing GIANT things!

Today is JUDGING DAY!

If you have a Hay Bale Sculpture, Driveway Decor, or Scarecrow entered in the Fall Fair, we NEED TO KNOW!

MESSAGE US IMMEDIATELY — DEADLINE IS 4 PM!

Judging happens TONIGHT, so don’t make our judges come hunting you down like a runaway scarecrow!

Message us by 4 PM to get on the judging list!

The clock is ticking… and the scarecrows are watching.
