🌻THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR FAMILY FARM🌻

As the dust settles and we venture into our next project (bulb peeling!), it is easy to focus on all of the tasks that still need to be done in preparation for fall. This morning I'm taking some time to reflect on our 4th Sunflower Walk season. We had amazing weather! We saw many new faces who had just heard about us for the first time, whether it was from an acquaintance or by chance as they drove past our farm. We also saw many familiar faces who have come time and time again to explore our fields. We are truly feeling grateful for the continued support from both local community members as well as those who come from far and wide, and fall in love with our area even if it just for a brief moment in time.

We are a family run farm and particularly for the sunflower season we rarely rely on external help. Thank you to our boys who rolled up their sleeves to help cut sunflowers and helped out in the tent for their shift each day. To Bart who keeps me on task when things get overwhelming. To Bart's parents who love being involved in whatever it is that we are doing and pitch in wherever they can. To our siblings and families who travel to take in the fields and make us feel supported.

Thank you to all of our visitors... because without you, this flower farm would not exist. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for beauty, nature, friendship, and photography. We truly hope that you enjoyed your time here and we look forward to welcoming you again! ❤

🌻LAST DAY OF THE SEASON🌻

While the season is so short, it can also feel long. Day #14 has come and we are ready to open our farm up for the final day of the season. It's your last chance to come and see the sunflowers and zinnias before we say goodbye for another year.

Everything in nature has its progression and sunflowers are no different. They are maturing nicely as they fill with seeds. The second field has been behind the whole time, so if you're able to make it to the back, it's worth the walk.

We are open from 9am-8pm. $6 admission per person, kids 3 and under are free. Leashed dogs welcome. Paths are well suited for mobility devices.

So if you're interested in spending some time in nature and to explore the farm through our walking paths, come see us at 262 Bruce Road 8, Hepworth for the last day of the season! We do have some cut sunflowers available for $2 each (normally these have long gone by this time of the season, but with our variable field this year we still have some!). Zinnias are ready to be picked!

🌻ONLY 2.5 DAYS LEFT IN THE SEASON🌻FIELD UPDATE AUG 14🌻

There's still time to come check out the sunflowers this weekend. We are anticipating being open until Sun Aug 16 at 8pm. The sooner you can make it out, the better, as they progress through their life cycle.

The sunflowers continue to mature as they should, filling with seed and starting to droop. Some sections still have some younger flowers. The back field is a bit behind, which means if you can make the walk to the back, the flowers are a bit younger and fresher. Either way, it's still a lovely walk to take in the sunflower vibes as well as their surroundings - the peaceful country setting, the pollinators working away (more bees are in the back field right now), and observing the cycle of life.

Zinnias are still available for UPICK (as long as we are open for sunflowers).

How our Sunflower Walk works:
🌟Admission: $5.31+hst = $6 per person, kids 3 and under are free (Payable at the gate, no tickets required. We accept cash or card)
💐Zinnia field access is included in your admission price, pick your own bouquet for an additional $10.62+hst = $12
⏰Hours of operation: 9am-8pm during blooming period
🚶‍♀️Multiple paths available through the sunflowers to suit your preference (150m, 450m, 750m, 1500m)
🐶Dogs on leashes are allowed
🌻Cut sunflowers for sale $2 each
🚁 No drones allowed

🌻LAST CHANCE🌻Field Update🌻

The end of our season is in sight... the sunflowers bloom for such a short but sweet time. The field is looking great! Our earliest blooms have just started to droop as they naturally get heavy with seeds, while most others are still standing tall. It's difficult to say our exact closing date as the flowers can change quickly. We are hoping to stay open until Sun Aug 16, and will be posting updates as we are able.

If you haven't been out yet, or were hoping for another visit... now is a great time to make it happen as they progress every day. Wander through our 22 areas of 750,000 blooms while you still can. The weather looks great for the next 3 days! ☀

🌻WE ARE DRY AND OPEN🌻

As many surrounding areas are getting some rain today, our farm has not received any rain today and it doesn't look like we will be. As much as we could really use the rain, the good news is, we are OPEN and it's a comfortable day to tour the sunflower field. Come for a visit as we are nearing the end of the season - closing Sat Aug 15 or Sun Aug 16 (to be determined based on the blooms).

🌻FULL BLOOM🌻Aug 8 🌻

The field is absolutely beautiful!! A sea of cheery yellow flowers ready to greet you. A zinnia garden ready to be picked. Come take a stroll through our 22 acres of 750,000 sunflowers (expected to bloom until Aug 15th or so). We have multiple distances so you can choose the one that suits you. There are props for fun pictures and some picnic tables in the shade to relax or even have a picnic.

These pics were taken yesterday. The blooms change every day... getting bigger and bigger until the petals fall off.
