Something big is coming…
We may not have West Coast Wonder Women+ this year, but don’t count us out. We’re teaming up with Proving Grounds, Western Canada’s premier amateur boxing promotion, to bring you THE UNDERGROUND PIT — a one-of-a-kind event where old school is the new school.

This invite-only fight night on Friday, May 30th at Hastings Racetrack is a collaboration born out of passion, grit, and the drive to keep creating space for women athletes to shine.

We’re still here for you.
Our commitment to showcasing your skill, heart, and power hasn’t changed. If you’ve been a part of WCWW+ before, you know the attention to detail, the vibe, the energy — we’re bringing that same dedication to The Underground Pit.

➡️IMPORTANT⬅️ In 2018, West Coast Wonder Women+ was born from a vision: to create a space where women and gender-diverse athletes could step into the ring, challenge themselves, and know—without a doubt—that they belong in this sport. It was about breaking barriers, proving that boxing is for everyone, and building a community that supports and uplifts.

Since then, we’ve seen fighters grow in skill, confidence, and strength. We’ve watched friendships form, champions rise, and a movement take shape. But today, we need to be transparent: we are at a crossroads.

At this point, registrations are not where we had hoped. Without enough participants, WCWW 2025 may not be able to run. We are holding off on making this decision until April 1st, but we need your support.

West Coast Wonder Women+ is more than an event; it’s a movement—a space where women step into their power and claim their worth. Boxing, at its core, is a test of the self. It’s not just about physical strength; it’s about resilience, grit, and self-belief.

How many times have we asked ourselves:
Can I do this?
What will people think?
Am I capable?

As women, we’ve been conditioned to doubt ourselves, to question our worth. And in a world where we still fight for equality in so many arenas, sport is no exception. But West Coast Wonder Women+ changes the narrative.

This is our opportunity. It’s about stepping into the ring and facing more than an opponent—it’s about facing our fears, our doubts, and proving to ourselves, yes, we can do this.

Boxing isn’t just a sport; it’s a metaphor for life. Every round is a choice: will you stay down, or will you get back up?
