The Strand Theatre is proud to invite filmmakers of all ages to submit their short films for our upcoming Film Festival on May 23, centered around the theme: “What Community Means to Me.”

🗓 Submission Deadline: May 8
🎥 Film Length: 2–5 minutes

🏆 Categories:
• Elementary School
• High School
• Open Community Category (for anyone outside of school who still wants to participate!)

✨ Prizes to be announced!

From stories about your neighbourhood, friendships, culture, or the people who make you feel at home—we want to see your perspective on community.

📍 All selected films will be screened at the Strand Theatre!

📩 Submit your film and be part of a special night celebrating local voices on May 23.

TODAY’S THE DAY! At 4:15pm we will be showing the Christmas Classic White Christmas at The Strand in Simcoe! Tickets are $10 and any proceeds go to supporting our upcoming student film festival!
