After many wonderful years of celebrating the power of film and storytelling, Routes to Roots Film Festival has made the difficult decision to bring its journey to a close.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way — our volunteers, sponsors, filmmakers, audiences, community partners, and everyone who believed in our mission to bring thought-provoking stories and unique cinematic experiences to our community.
Through the films we shared and the conversations they inspired, we hope we helped bring people together, introduce new perspectives, and create lasting memories.
This decision was not an easy one, but we are proud of what Routes to Roots has accomplished and thankful to everyone who has been part of our story.
Thank you for being part of the Routes to Roots Film Festival journey. Your support, enthusiasm, and love of film have meant so much to us. While this chapter is coming to an end, the stories we've shared and the connections we've made will remain with us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Routes to Roots Film Festival Board of Directors
